Perfect spot for a getaway

We had an awesome time here! The staff was super friendly and really went out of their way for us. Our room was stunning with a modern bathroom that felt like home. The grounds are beautiful, and we loved the afternoon tea and cake. Only wish there were more options at the lounge bar.

The atmosphere of the Beryl Country House is serene and welcoming, with lovely antiques and cozy spaces to unwind. Breakfast was delightful, showcasing a beautiful selection, though the breakfast order process was a bit chaotic. a lovely stay, but a little more organization would elevate the experience further.

my stay was absolutely fantastic. i previously visited wells and thought it was charming, but this time, my experience exceeded all expectations. each morning began with a stunning view from my superior double room and an unparalleled breakfast spread featuring fresh local ingredients.

room lacked a mini-fridge.

this place is just amazin! we had a super comfy room with a separate sitting area and a nice kitchenette with cold milk for our tea. the owners were really friendly and made us feel right at home. plus, the breakfast was delish, made with local stuff. we loved the afternoon tea with cake too, such a nice touch!

only things we didn't like was that the stay was too short and we could've used more dinner options nearby.

My wife and I spent 2 nights at Beryl Country House, and it was absolutely wonderful! The Superior King Room with Garden View was spacious and elegant, offering stunning views of the gardens. The breakfasts were a delightful feast, featuring fresh local ingredients and lovely homemade jams.

I was absolutely captivated by this beautiful country house! The stunning garden views from my luxurious room made waking up truly special, and I adored the homemade cakes served every afternoon. Every detail, from the warm welcome and personalized touches by the incredible hosts to the delicious breakfast, just radiated charm and comfort!

the beryl was fantastic! our superior king room with garden view was spotlessly clean and very comfy. breakfast was delicious with plenty of tasty options. the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. loved the homemade cake and tea on arrival. it's just a pleasant 20-minute walk to the centre, which makes it ideal for exploring.

We enjoyed a lovely Superior King Room with Garden View. The room was spotless with a comfortable canopy bed and a private bathroom with a shower. Great views of the beautifully manicured gardens. Had delicious breakfasts with local products and enjoyed afternoon tea with homemade cakes. The outdoor pool was a relaxing bonus.

It was just a well-suited match for a weekend outing in Wells with very good value for money. We enjoyed the warm welcome and afternoon cake, which made our stay feel special. Make sure to appreciate the breakfast options for a great start to the day.
